This

This past week was been really stressful compliments of this. photo

This is what I woke up to last (not the 11th but the 4th) Friday morning. It caused classes to be cancelled for 2.5 days. While I enjoyed my time off, I am not enjoying the consequences of that time off. Because of days off from school, I have had 4 quizzes, a test and 2 papers due this past week, which makes for a very stressed out college student.

On the flip side, it was nice to see snow in South Texas. My beloved, Houston, just got ice. BE JEALOUS FELLOW HOUSTONIANS!!!

My roommate also taught me to crochet through this snowy mess and I love doing it! It keeps my brain engaged in something but it’s not stressful like everything else in college seems to be right now. My step-sister has been helping me perfect my crocheting via text and picture messaging. Gotta love technology!

I need to figure out more methods of stress relief. Everything seems to be like a juggling act lately and by that I mean if it’s not something for one class, it’s an assignment for another. I’m trying so hard to stay afloat and not drown in this mess.

I’ve been leaning a lot on God. I’ve been praying about everything instead of having panic attacks and He always seems to catch me in his net of comfort. He whispers, “I’ve got you, Mere. Everything’s going to work out.” *deep breath* and it does :)

In other news…..

I had a great time participating in BlogSecret 2011 with Holly on Saturday! If you haven’t already seen the posts, go check out her fabulous blog and catch up on them!

I’m ready for these warm temperatures to hit starting tomorrow. Who’s with me on that one?!

Warm? Ha! It was 17 below zero on the way to church today. Brrrrr.

I love how God says to you "I've got you, Mere." So true!! I am going to remember this. Only, its "Ger" instead of Mere. Hee hee.

So glad you are doing well. Send some warm weather my way. :)
