Schedule for Spring 2011 and some other stuff :)

This past weekend we threw Popey a surprise 80th birthday party over the weekend and it was beyond FABULOUS! My entire family pitched in to make everything happen and they worked their tails off. I was totally impressed at how well everyone worked together. A good chunk of the town attended and even though his invitations clearly requested "no gifts," he still got a lot of things. From a rain gauge to tangerines to scratch offs to cash...you name it, he got it! This 80 year old man is BANKIN'! haha Hopefully I can put some pictures up soon.

I finally got my schedule changed to start working on more of my Nursing prerequisites. I think I had an angel smile on me this morning because when I checked the open class schedule last night no chemistry classes were open and right as I was about to log off of the computer a chemistry class and a lab opened up. Praise the Lord! I am so grateful. My fabulous Aunt Liz helped me decide between a few classes as well so I am grateful to her for her guidance. I could not have done it without her. Seriously.

My class schedule is as follows:

Monday: Sociology 9:00-9:50am
Political Science (Second Part) 10:00-10:50am
Chemistry 3:30-4:50pm

Tuesday: English (Second Part) 11:00am-12:20pm
Theatre Appreciation 12:30pm-1:50pm

Wednesday: Sociology 9:00-9:50am
Political Science (Second Part) 10:00-10:50am
Chemistry (Lab) 12:30-3:20pm
Chemistry 3:30-4:50pm

Thursday: English (Second Part) 11:00am-12:20pm
Theatre Appreciation 12:30-1:50pm

Friday: Sociology 9:00am-9:50am
Political Science (Second Part) 10:00-10:50am

I'm rather pleased with my schedule as it will aid me in #3 of my 2011 goals . I also have no 8:00am classes as I did on Monday, Wednesday and Friday last semester. 16 semester hours...we can do it! I'm a morning person but those 8:00am classes KILLED me. I was always exhausted when waking up in the mornings. I will not go through that again. I may be a huge morning person but not when I closed for work the night before. Not a good combination for me....no ma'am!

As much as I love being near the family I am near up here, I miss my family and friends back home. I need to take time off and go see them....maybe Spring Break?!

That is my kind of schedule! I always wanted my classes in the morning, starting at 9, so I could have the afternoons to nap, do homework, or work. :)

Good luck this semester!
