First Day Back

So I totally survived my first day back. It was a great day filled with “having new teachers” anxiety but I loved the two I got to meet. Yesterday was like my second first day, if you will, because I got to meet my Monday Wednesday Friday teachers and I loved them too! I had one that I chose to have again because I loved her last semester, so life was good :)

Last night I went to a chemistry study session from 5:30-7:30 with my professor and I loved it. I discovered I learned basically everything in college chemistry when I was in high school, but I’ll gladly relearn it to get that A. Also, some of the college chemistry topics go a tad more in depth, which is totally cool with me. I loved chemistry in high school, so let’s just hope I love it just as much in college.

While in English this morning, my professor pulled up Google and I have to say I totally loved the logo-art they did for today to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of President John F. Kennedy. jfkinaugural11-hp

It totally rocks my world. I guess you can call me somewhat in love with the Kennedy family (even though I lean more towards being a Conservative Republican) and I can’t really pinpoint a reason as to why that is. I just do. I feel like JFK was really on to something before he was shot and I wish the person that shot him would’ve given him the chance to carry out his visions. He would have done something magnificent.

Today I leave you with something to ponder:

Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth. ~John F. Kennedy

I will also be participating in a Blog Carnival type thing hosted by my sweet friend Holly. I can’t WAIT!  You should go check out her blog and participate too :)

Hope you’ve had a great week thus far :)

One of my favourite parts of American history was the JKF and MLK era. Totally inspiring so I don't blame you for loving them! x
