The Smile Award

I have created a new award for my readers, because I am blessed by you!
These are the rules:
1. The recipient must link back the the award's creator (http://www.thebabblingsofmere.blogspot.com/)
2. You must post these rules if you recieve the award.
3. You must chose 5 people to recieve the award after recieving it yourself
4. You must fit the characteristics of the recipient of the award, as posted by Mere.
5. You must post the characteristics of a recipient.
6. You must create a post sharing your win with others.
7. You must thank your giver.

Characteristics for the Smile Award:
1. Must display a cheerful attitude. (not necessarily at all times--we are all human)
2. Must love one another
3. Must make mistakes
4. Must learn from others
5. Must be a positive contributor to blog world
6. Must love life
7. Must love kids

Here are the people I chose to be the original winners--It was very hard to chose! Remember---I LOVE YOU ALL!!

1. Dawn at Dawn's Place- I love that she shares all that's going on with her....I love to peek and take a walk in other's shoes, and she shares it all with us. She loves each child she comes in contact with....she is a social worker! I love social workers, because a lot of them are kid's biggest advocates! She found my blog a while ago, and I am so glad she did! You're TERRIFIC, girl!

2. Cheryl at Dream in Color- I found her, and have been reading through her posts. I see a lot of myself in her, because she has a job similar to mine. She misses her "kids" like I do, and feels every emotion they feel, just like I do. She loves to decorate like I do, and I love seeing her creations :)

3. Jody at Nitty. Gritty. - Life has given this courageous lady many lemons out of which to make "lemon bars :)" out of, and she has done a FABULOUS job with God's help. She constantly keeps a positive attitude and always puts her kids first. She is what God intended a mother to be....everything...and more! I admire her dearly, and I am so blessed to have found her blog.

4. Terri at Just a Flip Flop Mom - WARNING: She is not JUST a flip flop mom...she is one AMAZING woman! Terri is such a Godly woman, and TERRIFIC mom. She is always proud of her kiddos, and she has so many reasons to be. She has raised them to be great kids, and they are so blessed to have her...as am I to have her as my blogger friend. She was one of my first, and I am sooooo grateful for her!

5. Mel at It's Another Day- Mel is always so encouraging! She truly loves her family, and is always quick to teach us life lessons!...and I love that!!! She just found my blog, and she fits right in with the "Mere readers!" I love how she even posts about her mistakes, to show us that she really is a human....and I wouldn't have her any other way!!

So....that's my list! Don't forget to read everything!! Remember, I love all of you!! When I get home, I will be creating a few more awards...so look out!!
